All purchases of tee usage will be controlled by the POS terminal located in the Pro Shop or through the touch screen integrated into the tower of each tee-box. A pre-purchase plastic range card will activate the tee-boxes. This will eliminate the picking up and handling of baskets of golf balls which is both cumbersome and costly to maintain. Ranges can now accept golfers with a pre-purchase card even when the Pro Shop is closed. That means that Golfers are no longer dependent on a fixed schedule defined by the Pro Shop. This will result in more balls hit on any given day resulting in more revenue generated.
